30 x 30 Une porte monumentale en bois domine une ruelle étroite. Deux silhouettes ponctuent la perspective à différentes profondeurs. Les structures architecturales se dessinent par superposition, de masses noires et de lavis gris, exécutés à l'encre pigmentaire et à l'encre de Chine sur papier photographique.
A monumental wooden door dominates a narrow alley. Two figures punctuate the perspective at different depths. The architectural structures are rendered through the layering of black masses and gray washes, executed in pigment ink and India ink on photographic paper.

A stone staircase winds its way up a narrow, sloping alley,  a solitary figure marks the center of the composition, while a temple stands out in the background. Lines drawn with pigment ink and gray washes of Chinese ink define the forms on photographic paper.
